Successful Outcomes
01 — Early Childhood Education
Directed > $45 million investment in CARES Act funding to stabilize child care infrastructure during Vermont’s pandemic response, including nationally recognized programs for child care providers resulting in 98% market stability after first pandemic response period.

02 — School Leadership
Superintendent for Native American schools, increasing number of graduating seniors who entered 2- and 4-year colleges and trade schools from 25% to 87%, increasing the graduation rate from 58% to 77%, and increasing community outreach through growing the social media audience from zero to 40,000 individuals.

03 — Adult Education
Increased Japanese and Korean learning outcomes for U.S. Department of State embassy workers such that the percentage of students who exceeded their speaking proficiency goals increased by more than five times when compared to the most successful year among the ten years prior.

04 — Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Team-building on a majority BIPOC staff, including promotion of culturally sensitive communication and collaboration, resulting in quick recovery of the staff morale after a significant lay-off, plus a five percent increase in the training success rate during the academic year.

05 — Curriculum Development
Directed a $600,000 federal grant to develop, test, and evaluate the Marhaba! Arabic curriculum for middle and high school students, presented on the findings, and published a commercially-available curriculum and teacher training reference book.
